RELATING TO PUBLIC SAFETY.

Requires police departments to disclose to the Legislature the identity of an officer upon the officer's discharge or second suspension in a five-year period. Requires disclosure of certain information under the Uniform Information Practices Act after a police officer's second suspension in a five-year period. (SD1)

RELATING TO TAXATION.

RELATING TO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT.

Makes an appropriation, subject to the availability of matching funds, to UH to conduct any studies necessary to ascertain the feasibility and benefits of establishing a small satellite launch and processing facility in the State, as well as to conduct any related public outreach programs.

RELATING TO CONDOMINIUMS.

Clarifies that the removal or replacement of a director elected by a class of unit owners shall be by a majority of only the members of that class. Specifies that for an election in a mixed-use condominium project where directors are elected by different classes of owners, an association may cast a vote or votes allocated to any nonresidential unit owned by the association where those eligible to vote in the election are limited to owners of one or more nonresidential units, including the nonresidential unit owned by the association. RELATING TO MAALAEA SMALL BOAT HARBOR.

Corrects an error in the Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2016 to clarify that the CIP project for Maalaea small boat harbor on Maui was for plans, design, and construction for pier improvements, rather than dredging. (SB284 HD1)
