RELATING TO DELAY IN PRIOR APPROVAL FOR MEDICAL SERVICES.

Prohibits health insurance preauthorization requirements that cause undue delay in receipt of medical treatment or services. Specifies that insurers, but not health care providers, are liable for civil damages caused by undue delays for preauthorization. (HB885 HD1)

RELATING TO GRANTS.

RELATING TO THE PRACTICE OF PHARMACY.

Amends the definition of "practice of pharmacy" to expand the scope of services and specific medications that pharmacists may furnish. Establishes a working group to review the scope of practice of pharmacists and continuing competency requirements for pharmacists. (HB1950 HD2)

RELATING TO THE HAWAII FARM TO SCHOOL PROGRAM.

Authorizes the Department of Education to establish a Farm to School Program. Requires the Farm to School Coordinator in the Department of Agriculture to work in collaboration with the Department of Education on any Farm to School Program. Establishes two FTE Farm to School staff positions within the Department of Education. Appropriates funds. (HB2156 HD2)

RELATING TO HOUSING FOR NATIVE HAWAIIANS.

Authorizes the construction and use of micro housing units on Hawaiian home lands managed by DHHL, notwithstanding zoning laws, permit provisions, and building codes. Makes an appropriation to DHHL for construction of micro housing units, subject to certain conditions, and to build general organizational capacity of native Hawaiian-controlled nonprofit housing developers. RELATING TO THE ENVIRONMENT.

Requires, for any proposed action involving construction for which an environmental impact statement has been accepted by an agency but for which construction has not commenced within five years of acceptance of the statement, the developer of the construction project to exercise due diligence with respect to any changes in the community where the project is planned and requires developers to hold community discussion and feedback sessions to discuss relevant and new concerns regarding the project. RELATING TO EDUCATION.

Creates and appropriates funds for Erin's Law Task Force to review policies, programs, and curricula for educating public school students about sexual abuse and sex trafficking prevention, and report recommendations for the establishment of a program to educate public school children on sexual abuse prevention through age appropriate curricula. RELATING TO CESSPOOLS.

Requires that the existence of any cesspool on real property be considered a material fact and be included in a seller's disclosure statement if disclosure of the existence of a cesspool on real property is determined to be mandatory. (HB2573 HD2)
