Requires government entities to seek reimbursement for search and rescue expenses for persons who require rescue after leaving a hiking trail to enter a prohibited area or hiking on a trail closed to the public. Effective 7/1/2050. (HD1)
Amends the definitions of "certificate of disability" and "person with a disability" to allow a person with a disability that does not limit or impair the ability to walk and needs special accommodations to enter and exit their vehicle to be issued a disability parking permit.
Delays the execution of a writ of possession in a summary possession action until either two weeks after the issuance of the later of either the writ or the tenant's security deposit has been refunded.
Amends certain requirements for the state low-income housing tax credit by: changing the tax credit allocation for partnerships; amending filing requirements for tax credit claims; and specifying that certain provisions of the Internal Revenue Code related to at-risk rules and deductions and passive activity loss do not apply with respect to claims for the credit.
Establishes temporary Medicinal Psilocybin Working Group. Requires reports to the Legislature.
Exempts certain foods, medical services, and feminine hygiene products from the general excise tax.
Requires the Department of Agriculture to adopt rules to protect the welfare of livestock transported to, from, or between any island of Hawaii. Requires the department to adopt interim rules.
Requires that 1% of all assessments, fees, fines, penalties, reimbursements, and taxes collected by the Insurance Division be deposited into a special fund in the Department of Land and Natural Resources to be used for countermeasures against climate change.
