Authorizes the Department of Health to approve in-vehicle receipt of medical cannabis and medical cannabis products on the premises of dispensaries subject to Administrative Rules adopted by the Department of Health.
Adds a cap for the amount of tax credits for research activities that an eligible taxpayer and the taxpayer's related entities may receive per taxable year. Requires a qualified high technology business to be registered to do business in the State and be a small business in order to be eligible for the tax credit. Consolidates the survey and certification requirements for tax credits for research activities. Amends the annual aggregate cap on tax credits for research activities that the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism may certify. Requires certification of the tax credits for research activities on a first-come, firstserved basis to be based on the date that a complete application is received, subject to certain conditions. Extends from December 31, 2025 to December 31, 2030, the sunset date for tax credits for research activities.
Allows a person who employs or contracts with a health care worker who suffers an act of violence to report the event to law enforcement and petition for a temporary restraining order and injunction under certain circumstances.
Requires the Department of Health to establish and implement a program to improve and increase support for emergency medical services in the State. Requires the Department of Health to submit reports to the Legislature. Declares that the general fund expenditure ceiling is exceeded. Makes an appropriation.
Includes certain spirts-based beverages in the definition of cooler beverage. Establishes a separate tax rate for qualified small brewers.
Establishes a tax credit for certain owners of a condominium whose association is increasing maintenance fees to comply with a county ordinance requiring an automatic fire sprinkler system or alternative fire prevention and fire safety system.
Requires the Department of Agriculture to conduct a market analysis study to identify the optimum mix of private sector, public sector, and philanthropic funding sources and mechanisms needed to support blue carbon ecosystem projects in the State and Pacific region. Makes an appropriation.
Specifies that a recount of all ballots cast for any election shall occur if the official tabulation of all of the returns for that office or ballot question reveals that there is a difference equal to or less than one hundred votes, one-quarter of one per cent of the total number of ballots cast for the contest, or the margin of error for the tabulation method utilized, whichever is greater.
Appropriates funds to the Department of Education to contract with a qualified nonprofit organization to establish an aquatic safety education program for elementary school students and to establish one full-time equivalent position (1.0 FTE) to administer the program.
Exempts certain housing projects reserved for certain students, faculty, and staff of public educational institutions from environmental assessment requirements.
