RELATING TO STATE PLANNING.

Includes objectives and policies and implementation guidelines for planning for the lei of green in the Hawaii State Planning Act. Appropriates funds for costs associated with researching, compiling, and submitting the status report on the lei of green policy, including (1.0) FTE temporary planner position within the Office of Planning. RELATING TO WATER CIRCULATION.

RELATING TO BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS.

Appropriates funds to the Department of Education to provide public school students with behavior analysis services. Requires the Department to seek any necessary approvals from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to amend the state medicaid plan to include applied behavior analysis services for eligible students who have been diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder. RELATING TO HOUSING.

Requires each county to prepare a housing supply plan to plan for projected increases in the State's housing supply to meet housing demands of the respective county, identify and analyze existing and projected housing needs for all income levels, and identify adequate sites for housing, including rental housing. RELATING TO HEARING AIDS.

Requires health insurance policies and contracts issued after 12/31/19 to provide coverage for the cost of hearing aids at a minimum of $1,500 per hearing aid for each hearing-impaired ear every 36 months. Exempts mandatory health care coverage from impact assessment report. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD2)
