Prohibits the Hawaiʻi Public Housing Authority from banning pet animals from housing under its control.
Requires the University of Hawaiʻi to establish collective goals to accommodate the dietary needs of every student by increasing plant-based proteins and meaningful daily options for students with various allergies for meals eligible for purchase with a meal plan. Beginning January 1, 2035, requires plant-based proteins to be the primary protein in fifty per cent of all meals eligible for purchase with a meal plan. Requires annual reports to the Legislature.
Establishes the safe routes to school advisory committee within the Planning Branch of the Highways Division of the Department of Transportation. Appropriates moneys.
Prohibits a person from promoting, arranging, conducting, assisting in, receiving money for, or taking part in any meeting, competition, exhibition, pastime, practice, display, or event at or in the course of which a captive marine mammal is used for performance for entertainment purposes.
Prohibits the sale of geolocation information and internet browser information without consent.
Requires dealers selling new light trucks, including sports utility vehicles, pick-up trucks, and minivans, to disclose to prospective consumers that larger vehicles pose an increased danger to pedestrians.
