Clarifies that state, county, and authorized agents' authority to enter private property to control and eradicate invasive species also applies when there is a reasonable suspicion that invasive species are present on that property. (HB2045 HD1)

Increases the income tax credit for low-income renters.
Requires landlords, who rent more than five dwelling units in a multi-family residential structure to unrelated families, to rent a minimum of twenty-five per cent of the dwelling units to extremely low-income families. Provides for exceptions.
Increases the penalties for simple trespass and criminal trespass in the second degree for individuals who enter or remain unlawfully in or upon private residential premises.
Upon approval by a county land use decision-making authority, and with concurrence from the Land Use Commission, requires boundary amendments reflected in county land use plans to be adopted in accordance with such approved plans. (HB1866 HD1)

Requires the Director of Public Safety to submit an annual public report of information, statistics, and Department procedures on inmate deaths and serious or violent incidents involving inmates. Specifies that any inmate transferred to any out-of-state correctional institution shall remain subject to continuing Hawaii jurisdiction and may be removed from the institution pursuant to Hawaii law. Allows a terminally ill adult with the capacity to make an informed healthcare decision to request a prescription for aid in dying medication from their attending physician to facilitate a peaceful death. Ensures that physicians who assist patients in obtaining aid in dying medication are not subject to civil or criminal liability.
