RELATING TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

Allows an employee to take family leave in addition to victim leave for leave to seek safety, medical attention, or victim services related to domestic or sexual violence against the employee or the employee's minor child. RELATING TO INNOVATIVE PROJECT DELIVERY GUIDELINES.

RELATING TO HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS WITH SEVERE MENTAL ILLNESS.

Requires DHS to establish a task force on the implementation requirements for a pilot program to provide shelter and mental health treatment to certain homeless individuals. Exempts task force from certain provisions of HRS 92 for a limited time. Appropriates funds. (SB1051 HD2)

RELATING TO CLINICAL VICTIM SUPPORT SERVICES.

Clarifies that clinical victim support services for victims of sexual violence and abuse are a mental health outpatient services benefit required to be covered under health insurance policies offered by health insurers, mutual benefit societies, fraternal benefit societies, and health maintenance organizations. RELATING TO THE DEPARTMENT OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL.

Appropriates funds for one position within the Department of the Attorney General to provide legal advice regarding the Hawaiian language, Hawaiian culture, and Hawaiian shoreline public access rights. Clarifies membership and certain powers and duties of the Law Enforcement Standards Board (Board). Extends the deadline for the completion of certain Board responsibilities. RELATING TO CESSPOOLS.

Extends various reporting deadlines and the sunset date of the cesspool conversion working group established pursuant to Act 132, Session Laws of Hawaii 2018. Extends the lapse dates for funds appropriated to conduct a comprehensive statewide study of sewage contamination in nearshore marine areas and for research and technical assistance necessary for completion of the comprehensive cesspool conversion plan.
