RELATING TO CESSPOOLS.

Extends various reporting deadlines and the sunset date of the cesspool conversion working group established pursuant to Act 132, Session Laws of Hawaii 2018. Extends the lapse dates for funds appropriated to conduct a comprehensive statewide study of sewage contamination in nearshore marine areas and for research and technical assistance necessary for completion of the comprehensive cesspool conversion plan. RELATING TO THE OFFICE OF HAWAIIAN AFFAIRS.

Changes the maximum amount of public funds available to each candidate running for the Office of State Senator, State Representative, County Council, and the Board of Trustees of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs to an unspecified per cent of the expenditure limit established for each election. Amends the amount each Office of Hawaiian Affairs candidate must raise in order to qualify for public funds. (SB728 HD2)

RELATING TO GARDENS.

Authorizes the Department of Education to develop programs to encourage the development of gardens on school property. Authorizes the Hawaii Community Development Authority to develop programs that provide incentives to establish gardens in housing projects, communities, and schools. (SB303 HD1)

RELATING TO HOMELESSNESS.

Establishes the long-term rental assistance pilot program to be administered by the Hawaii Public Housing Authority for individuals over sixty years old who are homeless, or at imminent risk of becoming homeless. Appropriates funds. (SB1031 HD1)

RELATING TO THE HAWAIIAN HOMES COMMISSION ACT.

Requires the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands to digitize its applicant, beneficiary, and lessee records. Requires that the digital database be completed and available no later than July 1, 2020. (SB695 HD1)

RELATING TO HEALTH.

Establishes a task force to review other states that allow APRNs or similar health care providers to perform abortions, patient access to abortion services, and the costs of unintended teenage pregnancies; study the Safe Haven Law; and submit a report to the Legislature prior to the 2020 Regular Session. RELATING TO AGRICULTURE.
