Establishes the shipping container inspection program and shipping container inspection program special fund. Increases the maximum fine for each violation of the fireworks law. Requires PSD to submit reports to the legislature on implementation of the shipping container inspection program. Appropriates funds. Effective 7/1/2050. (HD1)
Requires public contractors to post a post-performance bond to cover the State's costs of curing construction defects discovered within 10 years after the completion of the contract. Requires the contractor to fully pay for the bond prior to the completion of the contract.
Delays the execution of a writ of possession in a summary possession action until either two weeks after the issuance of the later of either the writ or the tenant's security deposit has been refunded.
Provides veterinarians who provide emergency care to an animal immunity from civil liability in the absence of gross negligence. Provides veterinarians who render emergency treatment when there is no veterinarian-client-patient relationship, immunity from civil liability in the absence of gross negligence. Requires veterinarians to report to law enforcement events of animal injury, death, or abuse where there is reasonable cause to believe that it relates to dog fighting or animal abuse and gives veterinarians immunity for civil liability for making the reports.
Establishes the Erin's law task force to review policies, programs, and curricula for educating public school students about sexual abuse and sex trafficking prevention, report recommendations for the establishment of a program to educate public school children on sexual abuse prevention through age-appropriate curricula, provide relevant training to teachers and school staff, and inform parents and guardians about important child sexual abuse topics. Requires the Department of Education to establish and implement a systemwide sexual abuse prevention education program at the conclusion of the task force. Appropriates funds.
Extends the period for which driver's licenses are valid for persons seventy-two years old or older from two years to four years.

Allows association members to make written demand to planned community associations to make repairs to common property. Allows association members to make repairs under certain conditions and deduct costs for the repairs from the association assessments under certain conditions. Outlines limitations for repairing private roads.
Mandates a foreclosing party to submit a plan to prevent long-term vacancy at the start of the foreclosure action. Imposes fines on a homeowner, foreclosing party, or prevailing purchaser in foreclosure actions when a vacant residential property subject to foreclosure remains unoccupied during the foreclosure process. Establishes conditions under which a foreclosed property may be rented.
Establishes an income tax credit for taxpayers who live within 10 miles of their place of employment to offset expenses incurred for motor vehicle registration and inspection.
