RELATED TO AGRICULTURE.

Appropriates funds for the Department of Agriculture to hire two FTE positions to collect, manipulate, and graph data and to build an agricultural data dashboard for public consumption and a one year study on agricultural markets for Hawaiʻi farmers. RELATING TO RENEWABLE ENERGY.

Authorizes independent generators of renewable energy to wheel the renewable energy transmitted and used to produce hydrogen, subject to certain conditions determined by the Public Utilities Commission. Takes effect 1/1/2060. (SD1)

RELATING TO STATE VEHICLES.

Mandates that fifty per cent of all heavy-duty motor vehicles in the State's fleet be hydrogen or battery electric vehicles by an unspecified date. Mandates that one hundred per cent of all heavy-duty motor vehicles in the State's fleet be hydrogen or battery electric vehicles by December 31, 2035. Defines heavy-duty motor vehicle and hydrogen vehicle. (SD1)

Establishes the Solar Hui Program to allow multi-family residential property owners to invest into a Solar Hui Investment Fund to provide loans to low- and moderate-income households to install solar energy systems. RELATED TO TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS.

Limits moving violations arising from the operation of a motor vehicle that appear on traffic abstracts to those that resulted in convictions. Requires the Traffic and Emergency Period Violations Bureaus to remove all alleged moving violations not resulting in a conviction from certified abstracts.
