RELATING TO EVICTION MEDIATION.

RELATING TO HAWAIIAN HOME LANDS.

Provides that a living beneficiary's place on the Department of Hawaiian Home Land's waiting list for any residential, agricultural or pastoral tract may be designated for transfer to a successor if the living beneficiary dies before receiving an offer for a tract; provided that the successor shall be native Hawaiian, as that term is defined in the Hawaiian Homes Commission Act. RELATING TO THE CONVENTION CENTER.

Exempts the Convention Center from certain requirements regarding concessions on public property. Authorizes the Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority to sell or lease naming rights of the Hawaiʻi Convention Center Facility. Facilitates advertising and marketing in and on the Hawaiʻi Convention Center Facility. Effective 7/1/3000. (HD1)

RELATING TO INSTALLMENT LOANS.

Amends the definition of "installment lender" to clarify that the law is not intended to eliminate the ability of lenders to make low interest rate loans under the interest and usury law. Effective 7/1/3000. (HD1)

RELATING TO EDUCATION.

Authorizes the Department of Health to require the Department of Education to report coronavirus disease 2019 potential outbreaks or other public health emergencies and related information in a manner most appropriate to public health and safety, as determined by the Department of Health. Repeals the requirement to publish the report on the Department of Education's website. Prohibits the Department of Health from requiring the Department of Education to provide personally identifiable information in any report pursuant to the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act. Authorizes the Department of Education to provide personally identifiable information only after it has determined that a health or safety emergency exists. Effective 7/1/3000. (HD1)

RELATING TO CULTURE AND THE ARTS.

Requires that the State of Hawaiʻi Museum of Natural and Cultural History and the State of Hawaiʻi Museum of Monarchy History boards of directors each include two ex officio, nonvoting members, to be selected by the comptroller. Requires the State of Hawaiʻi Museum of Natural and Cultural History to submit an annual report to the Legislature. Establishes standards and conditions that the State of Hawaiʻi Museum of Natural and Cultural History must meet to receive state funds. Appropriates funds. Effective 7/1/2050. (HD1)

RELATING TO GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS.
