RELATING TO TAXATION.

RELATING TO PRESCRIPTIVE AUTHORITY FOR CERTAIN CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGISTS.

Authorizes and establishes procedures and criteria for prescriptive authority for clinical psychologists who meet specific education, training, and registration requirements.  Requires the Board of Psychology to report to the Legislature prior to the Regular Session of 2021. (SB384 HD1)

RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT OF THE AEROSPACE INDUSTRY.

Establishes the Hawaii aerospace development corporation to grow investments and job opportunities in the aerospace industry and for workforce development. Transfers all rights, powers, functions, and duties of the office of aerospace development and Pacific international space center for exploration systems to the Hawaii aerospace development corporation. Repeals the office of aerospace development and Pacific international space center for exploration systems. Takes effect on 7/1/2050. (SD1)

RELATING TO CONDOMINIUMS.

Requires officers and directors of associations of apartment owners to disclose activities that could reasonably be construed as a conflict of interest and cease the activity or withdraw from office. Prohibits attorneys from representing both the board and managing agent of the association. Prohibits board members from purchasing units at foreclosure sales resulting from the association's lien for unpaid assessments. Prohibits associations from contracting with service providers that have a close connection to a board member or officer of the association. Prohibits any person who contracts to provide services to the association or participates in the association's operation from owning more than fifteen per cent of the units in a project or from purchasing property that is subject to a lien by the association. Prohibits any employee of an association or person who contracts to provide goods or services to an association from soliciting, receiving, or accepting any undisclosed fee, compensation, commission, or gratuity from a third party who provides goods or services or solicits to provide goods or services to the association.

RELATING TO USE TAX.

Requires individuals to report use tax liabilities on their individual income tax return and remit payments of the use tax with their individual income tax returns, if applicable, or report use tax liabilities on use tax returns and remit payments with the returns.

RELATING TO AUTOMATIC RESTRAINING ORDERS.

Automatically imposes a restraining order upon parties filing for annulment, divorce, or separation to preserve the financial assets of the parties and their dependents. Effective 7/1/2035. (SD1)

RELATING TO INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY.

Attaches the office of enterprise technology services to the department of accounting and general services administratively. Reorganizes the members of the information technology steering committee and requires members of the steering committee to be appointed by the governor and confirmed by the senate. Authorizes the steering committee to submit to the governor a list of names for the position of chief information officer and requires the advice and consent from the senate. Sets a term limit for the steering committee members and chief information officer. (SD1)
