Conditions release of the funds on the University submitting a report to the legislature listing the specific research and activities it plans to undertake. Requires the University, along with the Department of Health, Department of Land and Natural Resources, Department of Agriculture, and Joint Rat Lungworm Task Force, to create a statewide plan for the eradication and prevention of rat lungworm disease.
Establishes an application screening fee that a landlord may charge an applicant to obtain information about the applicant and establishes the applicant's right to review the credit report obtained by the landlord if the applicant paid the application screening fee.
Clarifies the powers of condominium associations regarding the deduction and application of a portion of an owner's common expense payments to unpaid late fees, legal fees, fines, and interest.
Requires the auditor to conduct an audit of the governor's phone, text, email, and other communication records related to the emergency alert messages that were sent out to the public on January 13, 2018.
Requires condominium unit owners' associations to keep additional records and take further actions to make such records available for examination by unit owners and owners' authorized agents. Requires associations to make required documents, records, and information available to owners and owners' authorized agents on a protected internet site.
