Requires health insurance policies and contracts issued after 12/31/19 to provide coverage for the cost of hearing aids at a minimum of $1,500 per hearing aid for each hearing-impaired ear every 36 months. Adds knowingly making a false statement to a county inspector a crime within the offense of unsworn falsification to authorities.
Requires that if an application for pardon is not referred to the Director of Public Safety and the Hawaii Paroling Authority by the Governor, then the Governor shall provide public notice and a waiting period of fourteen days shall apply to the granting or refusing of the application for pardon.
