Establishes the Parkinson's Disease Research Collection Database to be administered by the Department of Health. Establishes the Parkinson's Disease Research Collection Database Advisory Committee. Requires the Department of Health to create and maintain a database and submit annual reports to the Legislature.
Requires the employees' retirement system to divest its investment portfolio of coal, oil, and gas companies within an unspecified number of years and to report certain information to the legislature.
Prohibits digital application developers and digital application distribution platforms from increasing the price of a digital application subscription plan that is automatically billed to the user's account without obtaining the user's written consent.
Establishes a working group within DHRD to: examine and redescribe certain existing position descriptions of state public workers in all state departments and agencies; examine and make recommendations regarding the impact of the pay disparities between public and private sector workers; and examine and make recommendations regarding the impact of the disparities between the health insurance premiums paid by public and private sector workers.
Caps the service charges for a primary and secondary ticket seller. Requires website operators to guarantee refunds in certain circumstances and disclose that the website is not the primary ticket seller. Prohibits variable demand pricing, speculative tickets, and the usage of bots. Makes conforming amendments.
Requires all state, county, and private bus operators to upgrade to zero emission buses by 2045.
Increases the amount of interest in real property that is exempt from attachment and execution. Amends the value of personal property that is exempt from attachment and execution, including increasing the exemption amount for a motor vehicle. Exempts from attachment and execution, an amount equivalent to one month of child support or $5,000, whichever is less, and one month of spousal support or $5,000, whichever is less.
Amends the membership of the Hawaii Interagency Council for Transit-Oriented Development to include the House of Representatives chairs of the committees on housing and transportation and the Senate chairs of the committees on housing and transportation.
Requires restaurants to clearly disclose to customers how tips are allocated to employees.
Limits public funding to beach replenishment projects in resort zoned areas to twenty per cent.
