RELATING TO HEALTH.

Prohibits the remote sale and shipment of cigarettes and tobacco products, including electronic smoking devices, to consumers except to licensed wholesalers or dealers. Imposes criminal liability for a violation. (HB1907 HD2)

RELATING TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

Provides that funds received from the federal government for the purpose of addressing domestic violence and moneys from the Emergency Medical Services Special Fund shall not be distributed to a law enforcement agency or emergency medical services agency whose policies, procedures, and training for personnel and supervisors do not formally require lethality assessments and safety planning with victims of domestic violence. Takes effect 7/1/3000. (HB2135 HD1)

RELATING TO MEDICAL CANNABIS.

Requires the counties to establish a medical cannabis collectives registration system for regulating and taxing the distribution of medical cannabis. Allows primary caregivers and qualifying patients to assert the medical use of cannabis as a defense rather than an affirmative defense under the medical use of cannabis law. Allows qualifying patients to transfer medical cannabis between themselves. Appropriates funds to the counties to establish and administer medical cannabis collectives. (HB2664 HD1)

RELATING TO HOUSING.

Requires landlords, who rent more than five dwelling units in a multi-family residential structure to unrelated families, to rent a minimum of twenty-five per cent of the dwelling units to extremely low-income families. Provides for exceptions.

RELATING TO CONDOMINIUM ASSOCIATIONS.

Requires board members of condominium associations to disclose significant financial interests prior to taking action that affects both the association and a third-party provider. Prohibits board members from receiving gifts from those types of third party providers. Expands the powers of the real estate commission to enforce violations by board members of disclosure requirements and gift prohibitions.
