Sets weight limitations for tour operators and rental vehicles on Hana and Haleakala highways. Establishes user fees to access Hana and Haleakala highways for certain vehicles. Amends the highway development special fund to allow the deposit funds received from the user fees into the special fund and authorizes the fund to be used for the development and improvement of Hana and Haleakala highways. Requires the department of education to construct and implement sensory rooms for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder in all public schools. Appropriates funds for the planning, design, and construction of the sensory rooms. Appropriates funds for special education teachers to staff the sensory rooms.
Beginning January 1, 2023, prohibits the sale, offer for sale, or distribution in the State of any sunscreen that contains active ingredients that are not generally recognized as safe and effective by the Food and Drug Administration, without a prescription issued by a licensed health care provider.
