RELATING TO THE BOARD OF EDUCATION.

Requires the Board of Education to invite the exclusive representative for Bargaining Unit (5) (teachers and other personnel of the Department of Education) to appoint a nonvoting public school teacher representative to the Board. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD2)

RELATING TO CREATIVE MEDIA.

Requires the University of Hawaii, West Oahu campus, to offer a Bachelor of Arts degree in creative media by the start of the 2020 spring semester. Repeals the annual $35,000,000 rolling cap and extends the repeal date for the motion picture, digital media, and film production income tax credit; provided that title to a certain parcel of University of Hawaii, West Oahu campus land is successfully transferred to the Hawaii Technology Development Corporation. RELATING TO TAXATION.

Amends the income tax credit for expenses for household and dependent care services necessary for gainful employment by changing the taxpayer's applicable percentage of employment-related expenses that constitutes the tax credit and cap amount. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD1)
