Appropriates funds to the Department of Health to procure services from the Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center for the public purpose of operating a twenty-four-hour, year-round emergency department to serve the residents of the Waianae coast. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD1)
Establishes within the Department of Human Services a three-year Medical Respite Pilot Program overseen by the Governor's Coordinator on Homelessness to provide outpatient health care and supportive services to homeless persons recently discharged from the hospital and non-hospitalized homeless persons who are being moved out of unauthorized spaces by the police. Authorizes, and appropriates funds for, the issuance of general obligation bonds into and out of the rental housing revolving fund for low-income rental housing projects or units that are allocated low-income housing tax credits and developed for families and individuals who meet certain eligibility requirements.
