Prohibits the performance of incidental and supplemental work outside the scope of licensure by a specialty contractor on any project requiring the seal or stamp of a licensed structural engineer. Specifies that the performance of work in certain crafts or trades shall not be considered incidental and supplemental. (HB81 HD1)
Establishes an income tax credit for taxpayers who live within 10 miles of their place of employment to offset expenses incurred for motor vehicle registration and inspection.
Repeals the allowance for Oahu-based legislators conducting official business during certain recess and interim periods.
Requires the Department of Human Services to include the name of the beneficiary of supplemental nutrition and assistance program (SNAP) benefits on each electronic benefits transfer card. Requires a photo identification to be presented when an electronic benefits transfer card is used.
Appropriates funds for charter school facilities. Effective 7/1/2060. (SD1)
Prohibits the Hawaii Employer-Union Health Benefits Trust Fund (Fund) from withholding any retroactive reimbursement payable after June 30, 2013, to a retired employee-beneficiary and qualified employee-beneficiary's spouse for an income-adjusted Medicare Part B premium based on the time in which the adjustment request is made to the Fund. Establishes notice requirements. (HB2466 HD1)
