RELATING TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

Streamlines the reporting requirements of the Department of Human Services (DHS)and the family courts to require DHS, upon direction of the court, to provide the family court with an oral or written report regarding the safety of a minor child of the parties on or prior to the next regularly scheduled court hearing. Provides that if DHS provides a written report, the DHS need not appear at the hearing unless ordered to do so. Requires the court to provide copies of all written reports to the parties. RELATING TO THE ELDERLY.

RELATING TO DROUGHT MITIGATION.

RELATING TO ENERGY EFFICIENCY.

Requires the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism to convene a working group to develop standards for reporting energy consumption to facilitate comparisons of energy consumption and costs by consumers and homebuyers. (HB1249 HD3)

RELATING TO HOMEOWNERSHIP.

Establishes within HPHA the Section 8 Voucher Homebuyer Assistance Program for recipients of federal Section 8 Housing Choice vouchers. Authorizes issuance of revenue bonds. RELATING TO SIDEWALKS.

Establishes and funds a two-year pilot school sidewalk maintenance and repair program that requires counties to maintain and repair sidewalks in school zones or other areas of significant school related pedestrian traffic. Requires each county to report on the status of the pilot program.

RELATING TO DENTAL HEALTH.

Appropriates funds to the Department of Human Services to restore basic adult dental benefits to Medicaid enrollees. Requires the Department of Human Services to obtain the maximum federal matching funds available for the expenditure. (HB843 HD1)
