RELATING TO INVASIVE SPECIES.

Creates an interagency task force within the department of agriculture to develop short-, medium-, and long-term solutions to address the proliferation of rose ringed parakeets. Requires the task force to submit a report to the legislature before the Regular Session of 2024. Appropriates funds to the department of land and natural resources for population control and eradication of rose ringed parakeets. Effective 6/30/3000. (HD1)

RELATING TO HEALTH.

Establishes a joint task force to review policy issues and opportunities relating to the navigation, access, and coverage of medicaid services by individuals with autism or fetal alcohol spectrum disorder and make a recommendation on whether a waiver or other approval from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is necessary to ensure accessibility of certain services for individuals with autism or fetal alcohol spectrum disorder. RELATING TO THE GENERAL EXCISE TAX.

Exempts medical and dental services provided by health care providers to patients who receive Medicaid, Medicare, or TRICARE benefits from the general excise tax. Applies to taxable years beginning after 12/31/2023. Effective 6/30/3000. (HD1)

RELATING TO BREAST CANCER SCREENING.

Increases the categories of women required to be covered for mammogram screenings. Requires the existing health insurance mandate for coverage of low-dose mammography to include digital mammography and digital breast tomosynthesis. Defines "digital breast tomosynthesis". Effective 6/30/3000. (HD1)

RELATING TO CESSPOOLS.

Establishes an income tax credit for the cost of upgrading or converting a qualified cesspool to a director of health-approved wastewater system or connecting to a sewerage system. Requires certain information regarding cesspools on real property to be included in seller mandatory disclosures on real property transactions. Effective 6/30/3000. (HD1)
