RELATING TO TRAUMA-INFORMED EDUCATION.

Requires DOE to establish a threeyear pilot program for the development and implementation of a traumainformed education program in the Castle, Kailua, and Kalaheo complex areas, based on the NanakuliWaianae complex area traumainformed education programs and report to the legislature. RELATING TO PUBLIC AGENCY MEETINGS AND RECORDS.

Allows state boards to hold meetings closed to the public to consider statements and information obtained from witnesses or victims during an investigation into the hiring, evaluation, dismissal, or discipline of an officer or employee, or of charges brought against the officer or employee.

RELATING TO AUTHORIZING THE DEPARTMENT OF LAND AND NATURAL RESOURCES TO LEASE PASTURE LANDS ON TERMS THAT PROMOTE COLLABORATIVE BENEFICIAL USE FOR FORESTRY, WILDLIFE, RECREATIONAL, AND FOOD PRODUCTION PURPOSES.

Authorizes the board of land and natural resources to amend and extend existing pasture leases and to issue new pasture leases by negotiation in furtherance of public purposes the department of land and natural resources is responsible for promoting. Specifies that persons with leases be compensated for the present value of all capital assets located on the land at the time of a lease withdrawal. Effective 1/1/2050. (HD2)
