RELATING TO THE ENVIRONMENT.

Part I: Establishes clean ground transportation goals for state agencies to achieve a one hundred per cent light-duty motor vehicles zero-emission fleet by December 31, 2035. Part II: Authorizes the department of accounting and general services to approve state fleet acquisitions, including zero emission vehicle requirements for light-duty motor vehicles that are passenger cars and light-duty motor vehicles that are multipurpose passenger vehicles and trucks, with allowance for exemptions. RELATING TO THE PROTECTION OF SHARKS.

Establishes an offense of intentionally or knowingly capturing, entangling, or killing a shark in state marine waters, and provides penalties and fines. Provides certain exemptions. Allows the department of land and natural resources to establish rules. Effective 1/1/2022. (CD1)

RELATING TO SEXUAL ABUSE OF MINORS.

Expands the time period by which a civil action for childhood sexual abuse may be initiated. Extends the period during which a victim of childhood sexual abuse may bring an otherwise time-barred action against the victim's abuser or a legal entity having a duty of care. Allows recovery of treble damages in certain circumstances. Provides for training on trauma-informed response. Applies retroactively to 4/24/2020. (SD1)

RELATING TO COMMERCIAL PROPERTY RENT RELIEF.

Establishes a commercial rent relief grant program to be administered by the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism. Requires that the commercial rent relief grants be given priority for moneys received through federal funding. Appropriates funds. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD1)
