Mental Health Professionals; Reclassifying intern registrations as associate registrations for the professions of clinical social work, marriage and family therapy, and mental health counseling; deleting the requirement that a licensed mental health professional be present on the premises when registered associates, formerly classified as registered interns, are providing clinical services in a private practice setting, etc.

Disclosure of Public Servants’ Personal Information; Providing that certain public employees and officials may provide a written notice to a data broker to prevent disclosure of specified personal data concerning themselves and related persons; prohibiting the release of data after receipt of such notice; providing for civil actions against a data broker for failure to comply; providing the standard of fault in such action, etc.

Autonomous Practice by a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist; Revising staff membership and clinical privileges for certain certified registered nurse anesthetists; authorizing certain certified registered nurse anesthetists to perform specified acts under certain circumstances; revising practice requirements for autonomous advanced practice registered nurses, etc.

Assessments Levied on Recreational Vehicle Parks; Providing that a non-ad valorem special assessment on a recreational vehicle park levied by a county, municipality, or special district, respectively, may not be levied against a certain portion of a recreational vehicle parking space or campsite; requiring counties, municipalities, and special districts, respectively, to consider a recreational vehicle park’s occupancy rates for a certain purpose, etc.

Storage and Disposal of Prescription Drugs and Sharps; Requiring the Department of Health and the Department of Environmental Protection to conduct a study of the safe collection and proper disposal of sharps; establishing the collection methods to be considered in conducting the study; authorizing the departments to work or contract with counties, municipalities, and private entities; requiring the departments to submit a specified report to the Governor and the Legislature by a certain date; providing requirements for establishments that store, warehouse, or hold certain prescription drugs solely for the purpose of destruction, etc. APPROPRIATION: $200,000

Provenance of Digital Content; Requiring that certain content created by generative artificial intelligence purporting to depict an electoral candidate include digital provenance data; creating a digital content provenance pilot program within the Division of Emergency Management; requiring the division to include a conspicuous indicator with an encoded link on the digital images and videos it creates after a specified date to allow users to access provenance data; requiring a provider of a generative artificial intelligence tool to apply provenance data, either directly or through a third-party technology, to synthetic content wholly generated by the provider’s generative artificial intelligence tool, etc.

Awareness Program for Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia-related Disorders; Requiring the Department of Elderly Affairs to contract for the development and implementation of the Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Program; requiring the Alzheimer’s Disease Advisory Committee to evaluate the program and make certain recommendations, etc.

Price Controls for the Storage of Electric Vehicles; Requiring counties and municipalities, respectively, to establish specified rates for the storage of certain electric vehicles; authorizing a wrecker operator to charge specified costs for the cleanup of an accident scene associated with an electric vehicle, etc.

Damages Recoverable in Wrongful Death Actions; Citing this act as the “Keith Davis Family Protection Act”; removing a provision that prohibits adult children and parents of adult children from recovering certain damages in medical negligence suits, etc.

Florida Museum of Black History; Providing legislative intent; establishing the Florida Museum of Black History Board of Directors; prohibiting specified members of the board from holding state or local elective office while serving on the board; requiring that the board work jointly with the Foundation for the Museum of Black History, Inc., etc.
