Gun Safety; Prohibiting the import into this state, or the distribution, transport, transfer, sale, keeping for sale, offering or exposing for sale, or giving within this state, of assault weapons or large-capacity magazines; providing criminal penalties; requiring certificates of possession for assault weapons or large-capacity magazines lawfully possessed before a specified date; providing conditions for continued possession of such assault weapons or large-capacity magazines, etc.
Lewd or Lascivious Exhibition; Revising the elements that constitute the offense of lewd or lascivious exhibition, etc.
DNA Evidence Collected in Sexual Offense Investigations; Citing this act as "Gail's Law"; requiring the Department of Law Enforcement, by a specified date and subject to legislative appropriation, to create and maintain a statewide database for tracking sexual offense evidence kits; providing database requirements; requiring the department to ensure that alleged sexual offense victims and certain other persons receive specified notice and instructions and be informed that they are entitled to access information regarding such kits and evidence, etc.
Barber Services; Authorizing a barber to shampoo, cut, or arrange hair in a location other than a registered barbershop without specified arrangements, etc.
School Personnel Salary Supplements; Requiring district school boards to provide salary supplements to instructional personnel who hold the degree of Juris Doctor and teach law courses, etc.
State Contracting; Prohibiting an agency from entering into or renewing a contract for goods or services with a company that is domiciled in a state or territory that enacts legislation establishing restrictions on abortion in violation of United States Supreme Court precedent; specifying conditions upon which legislation is deemed to be in violation of Supreme Court precedent; requiring contracts entered into or renewed on or after a specified date to authorize immediate termination of the contract if certain conditions exist, etc.
