Student Elopement ; Requires public schools to create School Staff Assistance for Emergencies (SAFE) Team & school elopement plan; provides requirements for SAFE Teams, elopement plans, & schools.
School Teacher Training and Mentoring Program; Establishes School Teacher Training & Mentoring Program within DOE; provides DOE, teacher mentor, & mentee requirements; & authorizes award of stipends.
Property Insurance Interstate Compact; Requires Commissioner of Insurance Regulation to initiate compact with other states to establish national risk pool for property insurance for natural disasters for specified purpose; requires commissioner to enter into compact with minimum number of member states.
Dependent Children; Requires DCF & each community-based care lead agency to coordinate with certain organizations & meet quarterly for specified purpose; authorizes such meeting to be in person or via teleconference or other electronic means; requires such meetings to have formal agenda; requires department & each community-based care lead agency to make certain information available on their respective websites; requires, beginning in specified year, department & each community-based care lead agency to publish on their respective websites biannual report containing specified information.
Repair of Mobility Devices; Requires original equipment manufacturers to make available documentation, embedded software, firmware, parts, & tools required to service mobility devices & parts of such devices; requires original equipment manufacturers of mobility devices with electronic security locks to make available any special documentation, embedded software, firmware, parts, & tools required to access & reset locks when disabled in course of service; provides that original equipment manufacturers are not required to divulge trade secrets; limits liability of original equipment manufacturers & authorized repair providers.
Medicaid Provider Networks ; Requires AHCA to establish network adequacy standards for prepaid dental plans; provides requirements for such standards; requires Medicaid managed care plan provider network databases to identify whether providers are accepting new patients; requires prepaid dental plans to to provide specified information on online provider database.
Use of Artificial Intelligence in Psychological, Clinical, Counseling, and Therapy Services; Prohibits use of artificial intelligence in practice of psychology, clinical social work, marriage & family therapy, & mental health counseling, respectively; defines "artificial intelligence"; provides exceptions.
Drowning Prevention Education; Requires DOH to develop educational materials on drowning prevention safety measures & safe bathing practices for specified purposes; provides requirements for such materials; requires hospitals, birth centers, & home birth providers to provide educational materials to new parents & caregivers as part of their postpartum education & care; requires childbirth educators to provide informational materials to parents or caregivers receiving childbirth education from them.
Pub. Rec. and Meetings/Social Work Licensure Interstate Compact; Provides public records & meetings exemptions relating to Social Work Licensure Interstate Compact & its committees; provides for future legislative review & repeal of exemptions; provides statements of public necessity.
Social Work Licensure Interstate Compact; Creates Social Work Licensure Interstate Compact; provides for recognition of access to social work services, including through telehealth, in member states; provides for development of data system, reporting procedures, & exchange of specified information between member states; specifies licensees practicing in remote state under compact must adhere to laws & rules of that state.
