Sale, Transfer, or Storage of Firearms; Revises requirements for safe storage of firearms; provides criminal penalties if person fails to properly secure or store firearm & minor gains access to weapon as result; requires seller of firearm to provide each purchaser with specified information; revises standard for adults & minors to be criminally negligent in storage of firearm; revises exception to prohibition on storing loaded firearm within reach or easy access of minor who obtains it & commits certain violation.

Drinking Water in Public Schools; Requires OPPAGA to conduct study of prevalence & effects of lead in drinking water in public schools; specifies information that must be included in study; requires OPPAGA to consult with district school boards, district boards, & other interested entities; requires OPPAGA to submit study to Governor & Legislature by specified date; provides for future repeal.

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations; Urges Congress to authorize installation of electric vehicle charging stations in rest areas on interstate highway system & to allow charging station providers to charge fee for public use of charging stations installed in such rest areas.

Aquaculture Land Valuation; Requires structures & equipment used in production of aquaculture products to be assessed a specified way when the land is assessed using income methodology approach.

Mental Illness Training for Law Enforcement Officers; Requires FDLE to establish continued employment training component relating to mental illness; specifies instruction to be included; provides that completion of training may count toward continued employment or appointment instruction requirements.

Margate Utilities Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System Upgrades; Provides an appropriation for the Margate Utilities Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System Upgrades. APPROPRIATION: $500,000

Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety; Revises & provides requirements for driver of motor vehicle overtaking bicycle or other nonmotorized vehicle or electric bicycle; requires DHSMV to provide annual awareness & safety campaign; revises requirements for turning at intersections; revises & provides requirements for persons riding bicycles in groups; requires Class E driver license examination to address bicycle & pedestrian safety.

Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Memorial Day; Recognizes February 14, 2021, as "Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Memorial Day" in Florida, a day of remembrance for all of those who lost their lives, or whose lives were forever changed, as result of mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland.
