Statewide Heart Attack Registry; Requires AHCA to contract with private entity to establish & maintain statewide heart attack registry, subject to specific appropriation; requires hospitals to provide certain information to such registry; requires contracted entity to use nationally recognized platform to collect data & report on certain performance measures to agency; provides hospitals immunity from liability under certain circumstances.
Specialty Contracting; Authorizes specialty contracting for commercial or residential swimming pools, hot tubs, and spas by certain persons under the supervision of specified licensed contractors; provides that such supervision does not require a direct contract between specified persons or for a person to be an employee of specified certified or registered contractors.
Displacement of Private Waste Companies; Requires local governments to pay specified amount of compensation to displaced private waste companies at end of specified notice period; removes provision relating to authorization of local governments to pay specified amount of compensation to private waste companies as alternative to delaying displacement for specified period; removes provisions authorizing local governments & private waste companies to negotiate such compensation & notice.
Employer Contributions; Reduces initial rate that certain client companies of employee leasing companies must pay to tax collection service providers under specified circumstances; requires tax collection service provider to adjust initial employer contribution rate under certain circumstances.
Aviation Fuel Tax; Deletes aviation fuel tax & provisions related to administration of the tax program.
