Unlawful Sale Of Alcoholic Beverages; Prohibits unlawful sale of alcoholic beverages at commercial establishment or keeping or maintaining of place where alcoholic beverages are sold; specifies conditions under which sites that have violated prohibition on unlawful sale of alcoholic beverages may be declared public nuisance.
Impeding, Threatening, or Harassing First Responders; Specifies that peaceful recording, photographing, or observation is not harassment; prohibits approaching first responder or remaining within specified distance of such person with intent to impede, threaten, or harass person from performing lawful duties after receiving warning not to approach.
Individuals with Disabilities; Requires APD to develop & implement electronic application process; requires agency to maintain printable paper application on its website &, upon request, provide printed paper application to an applicant; requires agency to provide applicants with specified information upon receipt of application for services; revises timeframes within which agency must make eligibility determinations for services; lowers age that caregiver must be for individual to be placed in certain preenrollment category. Progressive Supranuclear Palsy and Other Neurodegenerative Diseases Policy Workgroup; Requires State Surgeon General to establish progressive supranuclear palsy & other neurodegenerative diseases policy workgroup; provides for duties, membership, & meetings of workgroup; requiring State Surgeon General to submit annual reports & final report by specified date to Governor & Legislature.
Attorney Fees and Costs in Property Rights Disputes; Authorizes courts to award reasonable attorney fees & costs to prevailing defendant in certain civil actions.
Return of Weapons and Arms Following an Arrest; Requires weapons, electric weapons or devices, or arms taken from person pursuant to arrest that are not seized as evidence or seized & subject to forfeiture to be returned to person within certain timeframe if specified conditions are met; authorizes sheriff or chief of police to develop procedures to ensure timely return of such weapons, electric weapons or devices, or arms; prohibits sheriff or chief of police from requiring court order before releasing such weapons, electric weapons or devices, or arms; provides exception; removes requirement for order of trial court judge to return pistol or firearm taken following arrest for breach of peace.
Improvements to Real Property; Authorizes program administrator to offer program for financing qualifying improvements for commercial & residential property; creates seller's disclosure statements for properties offered for sale which have assessments on them for qualifying improvements; requires any financing agreement executed be submitted for recording in public records of county where property is located; prohibits recorded financing agreement from being removed from attachment to property; requires program administrator comply with act & any related contracts, agreements, or interlocal agreements be amended to comply with act.
