Permits for Drilling, Exploration, and Extraction of Oil and Gas Resources; Prohibits drilling, exploration, or production of specified petroleum products within certain distance of national estuarine research reserves in certain counties; requires DEP to consider certain factors when determining whether natural resources of certain bodies of water & shore areas are adequately protected from potential accident or blowout; provides requirements for balancing test to make such determination.

My Safe Florida Condominium Pilot Program

My Safe Florida Condominium Pilot Program; Limits participation in My Safe Florida Condominium Pilot Program to certain structures & buildings on condominium property; prohibits condominium association from applying for hurricane mitigation inspection or mitigation grant under pilot program unless certain association property or condominium property is established as common element & association has complied with specified requirements; revises approval requirements to receive mitigation grant; removes amount of grant funding for certain projects; revises improvements for which mitigation grant may be used; requires improvements to be identified in final hurricane mitigation inspection in order for association to receive grant funds; requires grant funds to be awarded for mitigation improvement that will result in mitigation credit, discount, or other rate differential; requires mitigation improvements to be made to all openings.

Condominium and Cooperative Associations

Condominium and Cooperative Associations; Prohibits a person whose community association manager license is revoked from having an indirect or direct ownership interest in, or being an employee, a partner, an officer, a director, or a trustee of, a community association management firm for a specified timeframe; requires a licensee to create and maintain an online licensure account with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation; requires a community association manager to identify on his or her online licensure account certain information; requires a licensee to provide specific information on his or her online licensure account; requires that such information be updated within a specified timeframe; requires a community association management firm to identify on its online licensure account the community association managers it employs to provide community association management services.

Memory Care ; Requires memory care providers to follow specified standards of operation in providing memory care services; provides requirements for resident contracts; provides requirements for memory care facilities; prohibits certain facilities from advertising, representing, or holding themselves out as memory care providers unless such facilities meet specified criteria; removes provisions relating to special care for persons with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other memory disorders; provides purpose & legislative intent for Florida Alzheimer's Center of Excellence; provides duties of center; provides eligibility requirements for services.

Nursing Education Programs ; Revises application requirements for nursing education program approval; authorizes Board of Nursing to revoke program's approval; revises requirements for annual reports program directors of approved programs are required to submit to board; provides for revocation of program's approval & discipline of its program director; revises remediation procedures; removes provision authorizing board to extend program's probationary status; authorizes agents of DOH to conduct onsite evaluations & inspections; authorizes DOH to collect evidence as part of such evaluations & inspections; removes provision authorizing approved nursing education programs to request extension to meet board's accreditation requirements.
