Medicaid Pharmacy Benefit Savings; Citing this act as the "Medicaid Pharmacy Benefit Savings Optimization Act"; requiring the Agency for Health Care Administration to select a single pharmacy benefit administrator through a competitive procurement process to administer all pharmacy benefits for Medicaid recipients enrolled in managed care plans; requiring the agency to complete the procurement process and select the pharmacy benefit administrator by a specified date; prohibiting managed care organizations from providing pharmacy benefits for their enrolled members, etc.
MACtown - Life Skills Services (ADT - Adult Day Training); Provides an appropriation for the MACtown - Life Skills Services (ADT - Adult Day Training). APPROPRIATION: $300,000
Managed Care Plan Performance; Requiring managed care plans to collect and report Health Plan Employer Data and Information Set measures by specified categories; requiring certain managed care plans to collect and report annually the Core Set of Children’s Health Care Quality measures by specified categories and to publish such measures on their websites; requiring the Agency for Health Care Administration to use such measures to monitor plan performance, etc.
Florida High School Athletic Association; Requiring the Florida High School Athletic Association to adopt specified bylaws or policies, etc.
Public Records/Physician Abortion Reports/Department of Health; Providing an exemption from public records requirements for physician abortion reports filed with the Department of Health; providing for future legislative review and repeal of the exemption under the Open Government Sunset Review Act; providing a statement of public necessity, etc.
Greenhouse Gas Emissions; Prohibiting the adoption and enforcement of certain state and regional programs to regulate greenhouse gas emissions without specific legislative authorization, etc.
Access to Health Care Practitioner Services; Exempting certain physicians who provide a certain number of hours of pro bono services from continuing education requirements; establishing a registration program for volunteer retired physicians; revising the physician licensure criteria applicable to Canadian applicants; authorizing the Board of Osteopathic Medicine to issue restricted licenses to applicants who satisfy certain criteria; establishing a registration program for volunteer retired osteopathic physicians, etc.
Neighborhood Pod Learning Programs; Citing this act as the “Neighborhood Pod Learning Act”; authorizing the parents of children from at least two unrelated families to establish and operate a neighborhood pod learning program; defining terms; providing that a parent participating in operating a program is not required to hold a Florida teaching certificate; prohibiting a district from requiring additional information or verification from a program parent unless a program student chooses to participate in a school district program or service; clarifying that a program is not a child care facility, family day care home, or large family child care home, etc.
