Court-appointed Psychologists; Requires party to seek disqualification of court-appointed psychologist before filing an administrative complaint against psychologist; provides for disqualification motions; revises provisions for award of costs & attorney fees in supplemental actions against court-appointed psychologists.
Arrest and Detention of Individuals with Significant Medical Conditions; Defines "person with significant medical condition"; provides that law enforcement officer may use his or her discretion in determining whether to make an immediate arrest of person with significant medical condition.
Geoengineering and Weather Modification Activities; Repeals, revises, & creates provisions of weather modification law relating to duties of DEP, prohibited activities, civil penalties, reporting & investigation of violations, & funding expenditures.
Administrative Procedures; Revises provisions relating to rule development, proposed rules, notices, public workshops, publication, timeframes, repromulgation requirements, statements of estimated regulatory costs, public hearings, lower cost regulatory alternatives, incorporation by reference, emergency rules, Florida Administrative Code, Florida Administrative Register, & annual regulatory plans.
Entities that Boycott Israel ; Revises provisions related to prohibitions on investments & contracts to companies that boycott Israel to include certain institutions, organization, agencies, & governments; prohibits arts & cultural grants for entities that engage in boycotts or discrimination; provides penalties; revises provisions relating to prohibition on contracting with entities.
Holocaust Remembrance Day; Requires Governor to proclaim specified day annually as "Holocaust Remembrance Day"; authorizes "Holocaust Remembrance Day" to be observed in this state's public schools & be observed by public exercise as Governor may designate; authorizes specified instruction.
Florida Statutes; Deletes provisions which have become inoperative by noncurrent repeal or expiration and, pursuant to s. 11.242(5)(b) & (i), Florida Statutes, may be omitted from 2024 Florida Statutes only through reviser's bill duly enacted by Legislature.
