Limitation on Local Fees for Virtual Offices; Prohibits county, municipality, or local governmental entity from imposing, levying, or collecting certain fees relating to utilization of virtual office.
Assignment of Benefits for Surplus Lines Insurers; Provides that prohibition against assignment of post-loss insurance benefits applies to residential & commercial property insurance policies issued by authorized insurers & eligible surplus lines insurers on or after specified date.
Estoppel Certificates; Requires community association to annually establish authority to charge fee for preparation & delivery of estoppel certificate; prohibits association from directly or indirectly charging fees that are not authorized by law for estoppel certificate; specifies methods for paying fee for preparation & delivery of estoppel certificate.
Foreign Polluters; Urges Congress to support solutions that examine pollution differential between United States production & other countries & that hold foreign polluters accountable for their pollution.
Impeding, Threatening, or Harassing First Responders; Specifies that peaceful recording, photographing, or observation is not harassment; prohibits approaching first responder or remaining within specified distance of such person with intent to impede, threaten, or harass person from performing lawful duties after receiving warning not to approach.
Public Financing for Campaigns of Candidates for Elective Statewide Office; Proposes repeal of provision in State Constitution which requires availability of public financing for campaigns of candidates for elective statewide office who agree to campaign spending limits.
Campaign Finance; Repeals provisions relating to Florida Election Campaign Financing Act; deletes provisions governing public funding of campaigns for candidates for statewide office who agree to certain expenditure limits.
Forensic Genetic Genealogy Grants; Creates Forensic Investigative Genetic Genealogy Grant Program within FDLE; specifies potential recipients; provides purposes for grants; requires report from each recipient within certain timeframe.
Online Protections for Minors; Requiring certain social media platforms to prohibit certain minors from creating new accounts and to verify the age of account holders; specifying the age verification methods the social media platform is required and authorized to offer; requiring certain social media platforms to terminate certain accounts and provide additional options for termination of such accounts; authorizing the Department of Legal Affairs to bring actions for knowing or reckless violations under the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act; providing penalties, etc.
