Unauthorized Public Camping and Public Sleeping; Prohibits counties & municipalities from authorizing or otherwise allowing public camping or sleeping on public property without certification of designated public property by DCF; authorizes counties to designate public property for such uses for specified time period; requires counties to establish specified standards & procedures relating to such property; authorizes DCF to inspect such property & to issue notice; provides exception during specified emergencies.

Identification Documents; Prohibits counties & municipalities, respectively, from accepting certain ID cards or documents that are knowingly issued to individuals who are not lawfully present in United States as form of identification; provides exception.

Child Protective Investigations; Revises the definition of "abuse"; prohibits DCF from initiating protective investigation based solely on parent's religious beliefs or ideology; requires child protective investigator to provide brief summary, verbal notification, & verbal or written summary of certain information to parents & legal custodians; provides requirements for such summaries & notification.

Relief/Maury Hernandez/Department of Corrections; Provides appropriation to compensate Maury Hernandez for injuries & damages sustained as consequence of DOC's failures to enforce probation laws, regulations, & policies; provides limitation on payment of compensation & attorney fees. CLAIM WITH APPROPRIATION: $10,000,000

American Flamingo; Designates American flamingo as official state bird; provides that such designation supersedes designation of mockingbird.

District and School Advisory Councils; Renaming "district advisory councils" & "school advisory councils" as "district community advisory boards" & "community advisory boards"; & revises requirements for such boards.

Construction Materials Mining Activities; Specifies ground vibration limit for construction materials mining activities within 1 mile of certain areas; authorizes State Fire Marshal to modify standards, limits, & regulations for use of explosives in connection with such construction materials mining activities.

Protection of Historic Monuments and Memorials; Prohibits certain acts concerning historic monuments & memorials on public property; provides for standing to bring civil actions; provides civil penalties for officials who engage in certain actions; provides local government is liable in certain instances; requires state to restore or relocate monument or memorial in certain circumstances; prohibits distribution of funding to local governments until they reimburse state; authorizes removal or temporary relocation of monument or memorial in certain instances provided certain requirements are met; specifies certain duties of Division of Historical Resources & Department of Veterans' Affairs.

Restrictions on Firearms and Ammunition During Emergencies; Repeals provisions relating to specified automatic restrictions on firearms & ammunition during certain declared emergencies.

Location of Equipment Owned by Amusement Business Owner; Prohibits counties & municipalities from enacting policies, ordinances, regulations, or other measures that require payment from amusement business owner for placement, parking, or storage of equipment for longer than specified length of time on certain lands classified as agricultural lands.
