Veterans Affairs; Revises admissions process for veterans treatment court programs; authorizes court, in consultation with multidisciplinary team, to determine eligibility for veterans treatment court programs; requires court to consider recommendation of state attorney when making eligibility determination; authorizes sentencing courts to divert defendants to veterans treatment court programs under certain circumstances; requires certain notice be provided to defendants; provides for disposition of probation or community control violations by program participants.
Public Records/Victims of Domestic and Dating Violence; Providing that certain identifying information of victims of dating violence who participate in the Address Confidentiality Program for Victims of Domestic and Dating Violence which are held by the Office of the Attorney General or contained in voter registration or voting records held by the supervisor of elections or the Department of State are exempt from public records requirements; providing for retroactive application; providing for future legislative review and repeal; providing statements of public necessity, etc.
OGSR/Department of Military Affairs/United States Department of Defense; Amending a provision which provides an exemption from public records requirements for certain information held by the Department of Military Affairs stored in a United States Department of Defense system of records, transmitted using a United States Department of Defense network or communications device, or pertaining to the United States Department of Defense; extending the scheduled repeal date of the exemption, etc.
OGSR/Florida Gaming Control Commission; Amending a provision which provides an exemption from public records and public meeting requirements for exempt or confidential and exempt information obtained by the Florida Gaming Control Commission; deleting the scheduled repeal of the exemption, etc.
Customer Service Callback Queues; Defines "callback queue"; establishes pilot program to require the Department of Commerce to use a callback queue for returning certain calls; requires calls to be returned in specified manner and timeframe; requires the department to report specified information to the Legislature by a certain date.
Memory Care; Requiring licenses for assisted living facilities that provide memory care services; making technical changes; requiring an assisted living facility that serves memory care residents or holds itself out as providing memory care services to obtain a memory care services license; providing an exception; requiring an assisted living facility to maintain certain licensure and meet certain requirements in order to obtain a memory care services license; requiring the Agency for Health Care Administration to adopt rules governing memory care services licenses by a specified date, etc.
Linking Industry to Nursing Education Fund; Revising the Legislative intent for the Linking Industry to Nursing Education (LINE) Fund; authorizing the inclusion of nonmonetary contributions to institutions for purposes of proposals for LINE Fund matching funds; requiring proposals for participation in the fund to be submitted by specified persons; prohibiting a proposal to participate in the fund from being comprised solely of nonmonetary contributions, etc.
Local Government Cyber Security; Creating the Local Government Cybersecurity Protection Program within the Florida Digital Service, to be administered by the Florida Digital Service; requiring the Florida Digital Service to enter into certain data-sharing agreements with local governments for a specified purpose; requiring the Florida Digital Service to administer the grant program based on specified criteria to provide information technology commodities and services to local governments for a specified purpose; requiring the Florida Digital Service to contract for information technology commodities and services and award such commodities and services to local governments; requiring the Florida Digital Service to prepare and submit a specified report to the Governor's Office of Policy and Budget and the chairs of the legislative appropriations committees, etc.
