Expressing the sense of Congress that the United Nations should take immediate procedural actions necessary to amend Article 23 of the Charter of the United Nations to remove the Russian Federation as a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council.

This concurrent resolution condemns Russia's invasion of Ukraine and its ongoing support of proxy militias in the region. The concurrent resolution also states that these actions pose a direct threat to international peace and security and run contrary to Russia's responsibilities and obligations as a permanent member of the U.N. Security Council. The concurrent resolution urges the President to direct the U.S. representative to the United Nations to use the voice, vote, and influence of the United States to take all necessary steps to remove Russia as a permanent member of the U.N. Security Council. Finally, the concurrent resolution urges other member states to support such efforts to hold Russia accountable at the United Nations.

Providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services relating to "Medicare and Medicaid Programs; Omnibus COVID-19 Health Care Staff Vaccination".

This joint resolution nullifies the rule titled Medicare and Medicaid Programs; Omnibus COVID-19 Health Care Staff Vaccination , which was issued by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services on November 5, 2021. The rule requires health care providers, as a condition of Medicare and Medicaid participation, to ensure that staff are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Condemning Members of the Russian Duma and Federation Council who voted to recognize the independence of Donetsk and Luhansk in flagrant violation of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, international law, and Russia's commitments under the 2015 Minsk agreement.

This resolution condemns members of the Russian Duma and Federation Council who voted to recognize the independence of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) in flagrant violation of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, international law, and Russia's commitments under the 2015 Minsk agreement. The resolution commends the European Union's decision to sanction 351 Russian legislators who appealed to President Putin to recognize the independence of the DPR and the LPR. Finally, the resolution calls on the Biden administration to sanction members of the State Duma and Federation Council who voted to recognize the independence of the DPR and the LPR, as well as close associates or family members of those officials, pursuant to Executive Orders 13660 and 13661, which authorize sanctions against those who threaten Ukraine's sovereignty and are officials of the Russian Federation.

Recognizing Bahrain on the 50th anniversary of its independence.

This resolution extends warm congratulations and best wishes to the people of Bahrain as they celebrate the 50th anniversary of the independence of Bahrain. The resolution also expresses support for the principles and freedoms upon which the nation of Bahrain is founded, as protected by its Constitution. Finally, the resolution recognizes the importance of the alliance between the United States and Bahrain to the stability of the region and the prosperity of both countries.

CRISIS Act

Curbing Reckless Ill-conceived Spending on Illegal Services Act or the CRISIS Act This bill modifies the Federal Emergency Management Food and Shelter Program to prohibit the provision of certain services to illegal aliens. Specifically, the bill requires each emergency food and shelter local board to (1) ensure that no recipient service provider provides any service, including transportation, to an alien unlawfully present in the United States; and (2) certify, at least annually to the national board, and publish such certification locally.

Pro Codes Act

Protecting and Enhancing Public Access to Codes Act or the Pro Codes Act This bill modifies copyright protections for works that have been adopted by reference into law. Specifically, if a work that is otherwise subject to copyright protection has been adopted or incorporated by reference, in full or in part, into any law or regulation, the original work shall be protected under copyright only if the copyright owner makes the work available for free on a publicly accessible website.

Spent Fuel Prioritization Act of 2022

Spent Fuel Prioritization Act of 2022 This bill requires the Department of Energy to prioritize the acceptance of high-level radioactive waste or spent nuclear fuel from decommissioned or decommissioning nuclear power reactors located in areas (1) with large populations, (2) with high earthquake hazards, and (3) where the continued storage of high-level radioactive waste or spent nuclear fuel poses a significant national security concern.

Strongly condemning ongoing violence and human rights abuses stemming from Cameroon's Anglophone crisis.

This resolution strongly condemns the government of Cameroon's abuses in the country's Anglophone regions, including the use of violence and violations of press freedoms. It urges the government to initiate dialogues with separatist groups and civil society, follow through on initiatives developed to address various grievances, and comply with international human rights standards. The resolution also urges separatist groups to immediately stop committing human rights abuses and end their incitement of violence and hate speech.
