This bill would designate March 2017 as Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.
This measure would confer upon Alexander C. Vassar the position of Legislative Historian, and designate December 15, 2017, as Legislative History Day.
This measure would proclaim March 2017 to be Arts Education Month and would encourage all elected officials to participate with their educational communities in celebrating the arts.
The California Constitution provides that all political power is inherent in the people and that government is instituted for their protection, security, and benefit. The California Constitution provides that the people have the right to alter or reform government when the public good may require. This measure would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to this provision.
This measure would recognize female athletes, coaches, officials, and sports administrators for their important contributions in promoting the value of sports in the achievement of full human potential and would proclaim January 30, 2017, to February 5, 2017, inclusive, as California Girls and Women in Sports Week.
