This measure would proclaim January 26, 2018, as India Republic Day, and would urge all Californians to join in celebrating India Republic Day.
This measure would declare February 2018 as American Heart Month and would declare February 2, 2018, as Wear Red Day in California.
This measure would designate the week of January 28, 2018, to February 3, 2018, inclusive, as Physician Anesthesiologist Week.
This measure would proclaim the month of January 2018 as Human Trafficking Awareness Month, and would encourage certain activities to honor that month, as specified.
This measure would designate that January 30, 2018, be observed as Fred Korematsu Day of Civil Liberties and the Constitution.
This measure would commend South Korea for hosting the XXIII Olympic Winter Games and the XII Paralympic Winter Games and offer wishes for a safe and successful Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Existing law requires the Board of Parole Hearings to meet with each indeterminately sentenced inmate during the 6th year before the inmate's minimum eligible parole date for the purposes of reviewing and documenting the inmate's activities and conduct pertinent to parole eligibility. One year before the inmate's minimum eligible parole date, existing law requires a panel of the board to meet with the inmate and to grant parole unless the panel or board sitting en banc determines that the gravity of the current convicted offense, or the timing and gravity of current or past convicted offenses, is such that consideration of the public safety requires a more lengthy period of incarceration for the inmate. This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to these provisions.
The Pharmacy Law provides for the licensure and regulation of pharmacists and pharmacies by the California State Board of Pharmacy, which is within the Department of Consumer Affairs, and authorizes a pharmacist filling a prescription order for a drug product prescribed by its brand or trade name to select another drug product with the same active chemical ingredients of the same strength, quantity, and dosage form, and of the same generic drug name of those drug products having the same active chemical ingredients, as specified. This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to that provision.
Existing law requires the State Department of Health Care Services to license and regulate substance use disorder programs and facilities, as specified. This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to these provisions.
Existing law requires the auditor of a county to examine and settle the accounts of any persons indebted to the county or holding money payable into the county treasury, and to certify the amount to the treasurer, as specified. This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to this provision.
