This measure would proclaim June 20, 2022, as American Eagle Day to commemorate the anniversary of the bald eagle's selection as the national emblem of the United States of America and would urge Californians to observe the American values, ideals, and attributes symbolized by the American bald eagle.

Relative to Juneteenth.

This measure would recognize June 19, 2022, as Juneteenth and would urge the people of California to join in celebrating Juneteenth as a day to honor and reflect on the significant role that African Americans have played in the history of the United States and how they have enriched society through their steadfast commitment to promoting unity and equality.

Relative to the Armenian, Assyrian, and Greek Genocide.

This measure would, among other things, recognize April 24, 2022, as "State of California Day of Commemoration of the 107th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide of 1915–1923," and would call upon the President of the United States and the United States Congress to formally and consistently reaffirm the historical truth that the atrocities committed against the Armenian people constituted genocide.

Relative to hepatitis epidemic.

This measure would recognize July 28, 2022, as World Hepatitis Day and would encourage Californians to increase hepatitis awareness to win the fight against hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and liver cancer.
