This measure would designate May 2023 as National Mental Health Awareness Month in California.
This measure would proclaim the week of May 22 to May 26, inclusive, as Firefighter Mental Health Awareness Week.
This measure would recognize May 20, 2023, as Girls on the Run of Greater Sacramento Day and resolve that elementary and middle schools across the Sacramento region should encourage girls in grades 3 to 8, inclusive, to get involved and participate in a nearby Girls on the Run program.
This measure would proclaim the month of May 2023 as California Tourism Month and would urge the citizens of this great state to support tourism and local businesses by traveling in the state as an act of civic pride.
This measure would proclaim the week of May 21, 2023, to May 27, 2023, inclusive, to be Emergency Medical Services Week in California.
This measure would declare May 4, 2023, as Star Wars Day.
This measure would recognize May 1, 2023, to May 5, 2023, inclusive, and every first week of May thereafter, as Black Health Equity Advocacy Week, and commend the California Black Health Network and other organizations throughout the state for their efforts to improve the health, well-being, and life expectancy of Black Californians.
This measure would declare May 17, 2023, as Necrotizing Enterocolitis Awareness Day.
