Existing law authorizes the use of recycled concrete materials if a user has been fully informed, as defined, that the concrete may contain recycled concrete materials. This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to this law.
Existing law regulates the acquisition and disposition of salvageable personal property for charitable purposes. Existing law requires an organization that is qualified to solicit donations of salvageable personal property, or to sell salvageable personal property obtained by soliciting, as specified, to maintain separate bank accounts and separate books and records for those solicitations or sales and to fully comply with the Supervision of Trustees and Fundraisers for Charitable Purposes Act. This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to those provisions.
This measure would urge the federal Office of Management and Budget to update its Uniform Guidance in order to improve job creation, quality, and equity.
This measure would recognize the month of January 2024 as National Human Trafficking Awareness Month.
This measure would call on the Biden Administration to urge Azerbaijan to immediately return all Armenian hostages, to impose Global Magnitsky Human Rights Accountability Act violations on Azerbaijan, to suspend all United States military and economic assistance to Azerbaijan, and to work with the international community to ensure the protection and preservation of Armenian cultural heritage sites. The measure would also support House Resolution 861, which calls on Azerbaijan to immediately release all prisoners of war and captured civilians.
This measure would designate, in perpetuity, the 4th week of January as Data Privacy Week and the last Sunday of January as Data Privacy Day.
