This measure would designate a specified portion of State Highway Route 15 in the County of San Diego as the Tuskegee Airmen Highway. The measure would request that the Department of Transportation determine the cost of appropriate signs showing this special designation and, upon receiving donations from nonstate sources covering that cost, to erect those signs.

This measure would designate a specified portion of State Highway Route 1 in the County of Los Angeles as the Honorable Jenny Oropeza Memorial Overcrossing. This measure would also request the Department of Transportation to determine the cost of appropriate signs showing this special designation and, upon receiving donations from nonstate sources covering those costs, to erect those signs.
This measure would request that the Department of Transportation erect informational signs on State Highway Route 210 in the County of Los Angeles directing motorists to the Western Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church of America, consistent with the signing requirements for the state highway system and, upon receiving donations from nonstate sources sufficient to cover the cost, to erect those signs.
This measure would express the Legislature's support of the use of a portion of federally generated seafood product import revenues for the domestic marketing and promotion of California fish and seafood.

This measure would commemorate and honor the service and sacrifice of the members of the United States Armed Forces who supported the operations in Iraq, and their families, as the official combat mission in Iraq draws to a close. This measure would encourage mayors and communities across the State of California to honor veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan on November 11, 2012, in Veterans Day parades, ceremonies, and other displays of our state's gratitude for their service and sacrifice. This measure would also request that the Department of General Services work with appropriate 3rd parties to advise and oversee the creation of a memorial for the California veterans who fought and served in Iraq and, upon receiving donations from nonstate sources covering the design, construction, and maintenance costs and ensuring that the memorial is in the best interest of the State Capitol Park, erect that memorial, in accordance with California law, in the State Capitol Park. This measure would state the intent of the Legislature to enact future legislation authorizing the creation of a larger memorial commemorating and thanking those who served in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
This measure would designate (1) the Burney Creek Bridge along State Highway Route 299 in the County of Shasta as the Deputy Kenneth Fredrick Perrigo Memorial Bridge; (2) the portion of State Highway Route 5 from the Riverside Avenue overcrossing to the North Red Bluff overcrossing in the City of Red Bluff as the Officer David F. Mobilio Memorial Highway; (3) the Brighton Street overcrossing over State Highway Route 20 in the City of Grass Valley as the Gold Star Memorial Bridge; (4) the portion of State Highway Route 5 from the Bowman Road overcrossing to the northbound Main Street on ramp in the City of Cottonwood as the Captain Mark Ratledge Memorial Highway; and (5) the portion of State Highway Route 39 in the City of La Habra from the south city limits to Whittier Boulevard as the La Habra Police Officer Michael Anthony Osornio Memorial Highway. The measure would also request the Department of Transportation to determine the cost of appropriate signs showing these special designations and, upon receiving donations from nonstate sources covering those costs, to erect those signs.
