This measure would designate May 11, 2023, as Vietnam Human Rights Day in support of efforts to achieve freedom and human rights for the people of Vietnam. The measure would encourage Californians to commemorate the day with appropriate activities, including, but not limited to, rallies, ceremonies, and discussions.
This measure would declare the month of January 2023 as Positive Parenting Awareness Month in California.
This measure would acknowledge the Muslim holy month of Ramadan and express the Legislature's respect to Muslims across California and throughout the world on this occasion.
This measure would proclaim March 7, 2023, and March 7 of each year thereafter, as Tuskegee Airmen Commemoration Day in California.
This measure would proclaim the month of April, each year, as California Native Plant Month and would encourage community groups, schools, and citizens to undertake appropriate activities to promote the conservation, restoration, and appreciation of California's native plants.
This measure would designate March 20, 2023, as World Behavior Analysis Day.
This measure would recognize May 11, 2023, as California Attractions and Parks Day, and would declare that the Legislature intends to take actions to commemorate the 19th anniversary of the California Attractions and Parks Association and celebrate the organization's important role and many contributions to California's tourism industry through its promotion, support, and sponsorship of a wide variety of activities and programs at attractions and parks throughout the state.
This measure would recognize "Women Warriors" by proclaiming the week of March 13, 2023, to March 19, 2023, inclusive, as Women's Military History Week in California, recognize the hard-fought contributions of women to the military and freedom, and encourage Californians to honor the courageous sacrifices that women have made since the historic lifting of the ban on women in combat on January 24, 2013.
