This measure would specify principles for repairing the nation's broken immigration system and would urge Congress and the President of the United States to take a comprehensive and workable approach to improving the nation's immigration system using those principles.

Existing law requires the board of supervisors of a county to hold regular meetings of the board at the county seat. This bill would authorize counties to hold one or more regular meetings of the board at a location within the county, if the change of location is adopted by ordinance, resolution, bylaw, or other rule at a regular meeting of the body, and notice of the change in location is posted in a location that is freely accessible to the public no later than the prior regular meeting of the board.
