Relative to California Cattlemen's Day.

This measure would declare March 21, 2012, as California Cattlemen's Day and would urge all residents of this state to acknowledge and pay respect to the men and women, all over the State of California, who work on the land to enhance and protect it, and who dedicate their lives to producing healthy food for millions throughout the world.

Relative to June Dairy Month in California.

This measure would proclaim the month of June to be June Dairy Month in California, in honor of the work of dairy producers in California, and would encourage all Californians to continue to support the American dairy industry by including dairy products as part of a healthy diet.

Relative to the National Day of the Cowboy and Cowgirl.

This measure would recognize and designate the 4th Saturday of every July, in perpetuity, as the National Day of the Cowboy and Cowgirl, and would encourage the people of the State of California to observe the day with appropriate ceremonies and activities.

Relative to Dropout Recovery Week.

This measure would declare the week of June 4 to June 10, 2012, inclusive, to be Dropout Recovery Week, and would state the Legislature's intent to encourage the support of dropout recovery high schools with creative teaching strategies, alternative assessments, and adequate resources.
