Relative to the Senator Sharon Runner Memorial Highway and the Larry Chimbole Memorial Highway.

This measure would designate a specified portion of State Highway Route 14 in the City of Lancaster as the Senator Sharon Runner Memorial Highway and a specified portion of State Route 138 in the County of Los Angeles as the Larry Chimbole Memorial Highway. The measure would also request the Department of Transportation to determine the cost of appropriate signs showing these special designations and, upon receiving donations from nonstate sources covering the cost, to erect those signs.

Relative to daylight saving time.

This measure would memorialize the Congress and the President to enact legislation that would allow a state to adopt daylight saving time year round.

Relative to Diaper Need Awareness Week.

This measure would proclaim the week of September 26, 2016, to October 2, 2016, as Diaper Need Awareness Week and encourage California citizens to donate generously to organizations that distribute diapers to families in need.

Maritime Museum of San Diego: San Salvador replica.

This measure would recognize and commend the Maritime Museum of San Diego for its continuing dedication to preserving, interpreting, and teaching the rich maritime history of California while upholding a worldwide reputation for excellence with regard to the restoration, maintenance, and operation of historic vessels, particularly the San Salvador replica.
