Directs the Department of Health's Officeof Emergency Medical Services to convene a work group related tothe eligibility requirements for emergency medical personnel to joina professional program addressing career fatigue and wellness. Thebill requires the work group to report its findings and recommendationsto the Chairmen of the House Committee on Health, Welfare and Institutionsand the Senate Committee on Education and Health by October 1, 2024.

Workers' compensation benefits; post-traumaticstress disorder, anxiety disorder, or depressive disorder incurredby law-enforcement officers and firefighters. Removes the provisionin the Virginia Workers' Compensation Act that benefits for post-traumaticstress disorder, anxiety disorder, or depressive disorder incurredby law-enforcement officers and firefighters acting in the line ofduty shall provided for a maximum of 52 weeks from the date of diagnosis.
