Pensions; hazardous duty pay.

Pensions; hazardous duty pay. Provides thatservice in the Fire and Rescue Department of the Virginia Air NationalGuard shall be treated as service in a hazardous position for purposesof the hazardous duty supplement or increased retirement multiplierin the State Police Officers' Retirement System, in the VirginiaLaw Officers' Retirement System, or as a local law-enforcement officereligible for similar benefits. The bill applies to creditable serviceearned before July 1, 2022, but only allows additional benefits tobe paid prospectively.

Deferred disposition; persons with autism orintellectual disabilities; offenses against minors. Providesthat certain felony offenses, including child pornography, obscenity,electronic solicitation of a minor, indecent liberties with children,and displaying child pornography or grooming materials to a child,are ineligible for deferred and dismissed disposition where the defendanthas been diagnosed with autism or an intellectual disability.

Dairy Producer Margin Coverage Premium AssistanceProgram; emergency. Expands eligibility for participation inthe Dairy Producer Margin Coverage Premium Assistance Program toinclude dairy producers who have an approved Natural Resource ConservationService nutrient management or soil health plan developed by an approvedplanner. The bill also changes the application deadline from February1 to May 15 each year and includes an emergency clause.
